About the Author
Nicole Harman is a California based author of YA fantasy.

During her middle school and high school years, she found an outlet in all things creative. She enjoyed both visual and preforming arts of all types. One day, Nicole was reading a book and found herself imagining what she would have changed about the story. It was then that she decided she would try to create her own story, the way she thought one should go. She found that the words came easier than expected and would write stories in notebooks for her friends to read in their spare time. Their excitement over reading her stories is what gave her the dream of one day becoming a published author.

After high school, she pursued her passion for service and began working in a restaurant where she met many exciting people in all walks of life. She eventually began to broaden her resume and experiences by working in a multitude of skills including: managing the office at a carpentry company, assisting and inventory at a local custom print shop, instructing young dancers, proctoring at a local middle school, and found her love of working with special education elementary students as a paraeducator.
March of 2020, schools transitioned to online learning almost overnight, and due to legal reasons, she was off work until things changed. With all the unexpected time on her hands, she was inspired to rekindle her creativity, and began writing again. By November, Nicole published her debut novel Wings.
Aside from writing, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband. Together they love finding new food places to try and hole-in-the-wall coffee shops. Nicole also dances with the University Dance Company. In her spare time, if she isn't writing, she enjoys relaxing at home and watching movies or playing video games.
